As a collective, we went through a deep inquiry process of identifying what are the core values of our collective mind.
Community
Community for us is a manifestation of interdependence. We believe strongly in the concept of interconnectedness and that we are designed to co-exist.
- “Relationships that are based on trust than transactions.”
- “Whole that is greater than the sum of parts.”
- “A space that is inspired to listen and not necessarily always respond.”
- “A place that is safe, feels belonged to and honours the inter-dependence.”
Our collective practices community by:
- Mutual respect for being as they are irrespective of who they are
- Care and well-being of each other is a priority
- Showing up consistently for each other and for the purpose we are working towards
Inquiry
Inquiry for us is important as it keeps us humble by staying curious, appreciative of the unknown and on the edge of discovery and uncovering another question.
Some voices from our collective on what inquiry means to us:
- “Inquiry serves as a means to understand the interplay between self and the collective, internal and external world”
- “Inquiry is a great tool for community building, builds deeper 1:1 friendships”
- “It enables in creating an objective distance from our personal experiences and biases”
Our collective practices inquiry by:
- Deep listening
- Draw from our experiences to understand each other and dig deeper
- Playfully engaging with the question and holding a childlike curiosity
Humanness
Humanness can be interpreted in so many ways but what it means to us:
- “Awareness of the polarity and everything between those polarities and navigating them.”
- “Humanness is part of me, I am part of that vastness, contributing with every action”
- “To feel all spectrum of emotions, to evolve, to learn.”
- “Living and viewing things beyond labels.”
Our collective is still learning about humanness and exploring the unknown. But our daily living that signifies humanness in our individual practices currently, is by:
- “Holding multiple worldviews with the intent of 'No one true worldview’.”
- “Practicing connectedness with the food we eat, people we meet etc.”
- “Communicating complex thoughts and emotions.”
- “Via love, care and respect.”
