Forest Bathing

This walk is based on Shinrin-yoku, a term that means "taking in the forest atmosphere" or "forest bathing". It was developed in Japan during the 1980s and has become a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japanese medicine. Forest bathing has proven to lower stress levels, lower blood pressure and boost your immune system, as well as decrease levels of anxiety and depression.

So allow yourself to be a child again and see the forest as if you had come the very first day. As we move into 2019, connecting with Nature might help you see what it is you are really looking forward to - are your New Year's resolutions really reflecting your inner dreams and needs?

The walk will be led by Anna Zamir who has been holding many such walks around forests of Delhi.
