Community is perhaps one of the most universal needs of human beings - some of them we choose, some come to us. Community also means nurturing human connection. Communities continue to play a significant role in the journeys of individuals, as a space of collective learning, healing, and bringing change for ages. They are also a place where one can fulfill one's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Buddhists believe in the structure of “Three Jewels” for their lives. The first jewel is the Budhha, which means enlightened to the true nature and potential of life.; the second jewel is the Buddha’s teachings known as “dharma” - wisdom, kindness, patience, generosity, and compassion as important virtues and the Third Jewel have been the Sangha - A Community.
This unprecedented year also surfaced the importance of this connection within communities and a need to nurture it continuously. Hence, at Alumni Week, we invite you home to the Youth Alliance community. where we have curated a journey on the theme of "Community With-in Chaos ". The intention is to experience the sacred connections, have satsang and swadhaya on various themes related to communities, and also share spaces of release, creativity, and joy.
Join us for this amazing 9 days Journey into our own lives and our communities. We will love to have our alumni for all the 9 days, just like our first program together!
One can choose to join in for the whole journey (3rd - 11th October) or individual sessions as per your time availability.
Alumni Week will be culminated by an evening of celebrating Youth Alliance being a thriving community and completing 9 Years.
