Power and Water Saving Campaign

Awareness – The state or ability to perceive, to feel, or to be conscious of events, objects and other things within and around us.

Youth Alliance believes that spreading awareness is one of the foremost steps towards achieving its goal. With this in mind our team ventured into the city of Kanpur with a goal of educating the public about the importance of saving water and electricity. Aside from the flyers put up in various colleges, offices and other places, our team of volunteers dived into the city to educate people about the bleak future for our coming generations if we did not stop wasting water and electricity!

As part of the drive the team also visited a slum dwelling in Kanpur and replaced the common electric bulbs with CFL’s which save up to 70% of electric power and are more durable.
