Kosi Dam’s Flood Donation Camp(2008)

Kosi River, Bihar, 2008 – Tragedy struck in the form of a disastrous flood that left millions of people homeless and hundreds dead.

Youth Alliance came forward to help the victims of the tragedy by starting a donation drive. The team started going around college campuses making people aware of the situation and asking for donations. In a very short period of time, the team managed to collect a sum of INR 1,64,000 ; clothes and medicines. The sum was then deposited into the Chief Minister’s relief fund and the clothes & medicines dispatched to the flood victims.
