Youth Alliance Graphic Design Intern                              

Description

Youth Alliance is looking for a Graphic Design Intern self starter who relishes a challenge and is willing and able to help us design our posters. The  designer works closely with the designing team and will conceptualize the designs. The graphic designer will help improve our visual presence. Currently there are vacancies available for three projects:-

1)Onus

2)Gramya Manthan

3)Change Festival

Time Commitment

The time commitment depends entirely on the project you choose to intern for

Tasks

  • Design promotional materials in the form of posters, flyers, website material, calendars, paintings/photos etc.

Skills

  • Practical graphic design experience (firm understanding of InDesign/Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Originality of approach
  • Comfort in and with various graphic design formats
  • Ability to work with diverse source material
  • Ability to appeal to a varied audience with a solid understanding of community outreach

Youth Alliance Photo Intern Job Description                  

Internship Description :

Youth Alliance, is seeking an organized and aspiring photo intern who can think on their feet and would like an opportunity to strengthen their professional experience and portfolio by working with Y.A as an events photographer. This position has the unique opportunity to work closely with the organizing team , identifying key concepts for event photography and capturing the moment with our Leaders and participants.

Time commitment:

Time commitment required depends entirely on the program you want to intern for .There is a flexibility in terms of working hour requirement

Essential Duties, responsibilities and projects:

● Attending the required events

● Intern should be able to organize photographs of each event and pick pictures from each

shoot to deliver to our team

Requirements:

● Preferable major in photography or having prior experience in event photography, editing

– Using software such as Photoshop to edit photos to improve their quality, communication are encouraged to apply.

● Intern must have required equipments.

● Technical skills: Excellent photography skills along with the knowledge of the available technologies to post and share photos

● Interpersonal skills: Enthusiastic, quick learner and a creative self starter, willingness to take initiative and motivation to seek learning opportunities

● Ability to adapt and work in a team

● Flexible schedule and able to attend events regularly

Youth Alliance Video Intern Job Description                                                 

Internship Description:

The video intern will work closely with Youth Alliance team. Along with a strong storytelling, we are looking for a full capacity editor who can shoot video clips of our program(including clip labeling and clip organizing),edit by creating assembly cuts and final cuts, sound edit by working with audio files (either spoken word or music) to perform basic sound mixing for final cuts, create effects (provide basic color grading and simple animations), manage and inventory video files, and deliver videos that are properly formatted for final web deployment.

Time commitment:

Time commitment required depends entirely on the program you want to intern for .There is a flexibility in terms of working hour requirement.

Essential Duties, responsibilities and projects:

Filming the events.

Edit/splice/enhance produced videos.

Making short video showcasing the impact of Lead The Change on participants.

Requirements:

● Preferable major in Film Production or any major that requires production, editing, lighting, sound. Additional experience with After Effects/Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Color, and Compressor, film, communications are encouraged to apply

● Intern with personal DSLR camera preferred.

● Technical skills: Excellent videographer skills along with the knowledge of the available technologies to post and share videos

● Video equipment that has editing capabilities.

● Interpersonal skills: Enthusiastic, quick learner and a creative self starter, willingness to take

initiative and motivation to seek learning opportunities

● Ability to adapt and work in a team

● Flexible schedule and able to attend events regularly

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and very detail oriented and organized
